"Off with her head!!"

Finished reading "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll today. That book is certainly a trip. What intrigued me was that it read like a children's story but the concepts it presented were actually really difficult to wrap my head around. It seems like it would make a great story for artwork, because it's as if Alice is walking through oneshots. Finally understood why there was a size tag in the Mad Hatter's hat. Speaking of the Mad Hatter, I was giggling all the way through the tea party scene, lindsiloolabell . *wink wink* Overall, a quick and enjoyable read that kinda made me feel like a kid again.

Next up on the list, which I've already finished the introduction, is Dracula by Bram Stoker. I'm bound and determined to read it all the way through this time, not just the first couple pages. What better time of year for a classic thriller? And for the record, no, I'm not reading it because of Twilight. I thought Mina Harker was the shit when I saw League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Knitting has been taking up most of my time though. As the Christmas season draws near, preparations start. If all goes to plan, I won't have to buy a single gift this year. My yarn stash should sustain me and everyone will just get hand made this year. XD This time, some people will even get stuff that fits. ;)

And on the baseball front, the outfield or base whatever umpires better have had some bodyguards in Anaheim tonight. That's all I'm sayin.

books, knitting
