Some fun poetry
Chocolate, caramel, cream and berries;
A sweet escape from the loneliness one carries.
Alone on this day of romantic tales,
I'll celebrate the joy of independent females.
"What are men compared to rock and mountains?"
So I'll not waste my time throwing coins in fountains.
Fate in love is sometimes horribly elusive,
Thus turning a woman on this day abusive.
Storming the mall and drowning my sorrows,
Seeing in each passing male possible tomorrows.
But at the end of the day, I come to realize,
That it does me no good to idly fantasize.
And so the plan is to celebrate singularity,
Knowing that the fictional perfect man is a rarity.
Chick flicks, good books, and a bag of kisses
Shall be the date of single young misses.
