So, usually I work 9 day fortnights at work. For some reason though, I had last Wednesday off, I have this Friday off, then I have next Wednesday and the following Friday. Then I have a week of annual leave

Heat + Humidity = Balls.
Which is a shame, because the rainy bits in between are very nice.

Also, 'Cloverfield' looks promising. It's a nice idea... I just hope they pull of the execution.

Yeah it seems like it's just been a constant cycle of rain for two days, humid to buggery for 3 days for the last few weeks.

Cloverfield has been mostly virally marketed, really well to from what I've been told.

It's released in the US this Friday, and that promo only came out a couple of weeks ago there had been no, until then there had been no "official" word on what it was.

As far as I am aware, it's all shot in a Blair Witch Project style, all on hand held camera's and the like. It starts at a party in New York with people filming the celebration. There is an explosion on the distance and things end up going to hell after that.

From what I've been told, it's basically Cthuhlu attacks New York. It look really promising.
