Not Dead
I'm actually not dead. A lot of times online if someone doesn't post for a week or so it's pretty safe to say they've abandanoned the project. Virtual signs of a heart attack if you'd like. No, I'm ok, it's just indigestion. Really!
I've been consumed recently by the wonderful joy that is the job search process. You gotta love companies which reply "Oh yeah, all the time." to the question "You guys aren't in a constant state of crunch or anything like that are you?" Brilliant. I'm so glad you consider "seeing your kids asleep as you walk from the garage to your own bed to crash" a family life. On the plus side I'm getting more experience as far as the actual interview process goes, and I have a much better feel for the salary range I can command. This will be very handy when I come across that perfect job, in 80 years, after I die, and enter utopia. I kid, I kid.
Yeah enough with the jokes. I mean, who can't appreciate the beauty in how a masters degree costs loads of money and, at the same time, adds 20+ hours per week of unpaid overtime to your job? You know what they say. People in glass houses s-s-s-s-s-s-sink ships. Fuck! Ass!
