Hello from the Austin airport! We had a lovely, if hot, weekend here for Suzi's (our groomsmaid) wedding. We had a nice unhurried trip through the Denver airport on the way here that involved cheesesteaks, and 95 degree weather that really didn't feel that warm until today. We tried mac and cheese pizza on Friday (surprisingly good!) before shopping for a wedding card, then there was swimming and hot tubbing in a fabulous hotel pool. Saturday we were exceedingly lazy and watched the Deadliest Catch marathon before getting prettied up. The wedding was lovely, though the slight thunderstorm at go time made things interesting ;) The Texas BBQ dinner was fabulous, and there was more swimming and hot tubbing last night. Today definitely felt like 95 out, but it was sunny and good for walking. We got yummy custard at a Steak and Shake knockoff, then wandered the LBJ Presidential Library/Museum and their Walter Cronkite exhibit. I also added another state capitol building to my list of ones I've been inside...now I'm at 2 ;)
All in all, a lovely vacation so far! We're here early so now that we're changed it's time to check in, get searched, eatt and find a keychain! Catch everyone on the other side :D
