Laughing at today
Had one of those days where you just have to laugh about how bad it was? Yeah, that was today. Our five minute dental cleaning turned into a three hour fight to pull a canine tooth on an ancient dog who shouldn't have been under that long. We used all the power tools and the non power tools and flung a lot of curse words at the thing, but it still wouldn't come out - it eventually did in about 18 parts. Then we had the pissy people, and the crazy owners, and the walk-in sickies, and no lunch. I burred off part of my nail trying to get the tooth out, and I got a blister on my foot that hurt. We accidentally opened two bottles of controlled drug (and never finish one before it expires!), and my hospitalized kitty is eeeeeeeevil (and has been known to break out of her cage a night). The best part was finally getting to pee at 8pm and realizing that I had been wearing two different colored earrings all day. :) Oops!
Yeah, this was one of those days that you just have to laugh at. At least I wasn't locked in the store at 9:30 - they still let me out! And hey - the earring thing was pretty good :) Now I have yummy food and comfy clothes and a soft couch, and a nail file to fix the drilled spot. Can't complain!
