I know some of you were members of the previous Mirandy Community Forum which had server issues and was eventually left to ... well ... gather dust.  However, I'm now pleased to announce a new Mirandy Forum has opened over at www.mirandy.co.uk

If one can only watch the forum after registering and no anon/guests viewing, then you'll have to count me out, I'm afraid. Not everyone can go online to a site that tracks you back. My LJ account was the last compromise I could make of my privacy, and I've already paid for it. Sigh.

I hope you could either change the site's options (I don't mind not posting, I can settle for viewing only) or at least update here if there's something interesting going on there.

I'm afraid I'm going to leave it as it is - if you want to read the posts then you will have to register, it's the only way I can protect the privacy of and personal information that anyone chooses to post. If the forum is open to all then it's hard for people to settle in and feel at home without prying eyes.

However, I do understand what you are saying and I'm sorry that you have already had your security and privacy compromised. I will say that the forum cannot "track you", I have no access to any of your personal details and neither do any of the other moderators. I can see your email address but nothing else about you, certainly not your password or anything like that.

I hope you will reconsider and join up at some point, but if you decide not to I do understand your position.

I have tried to register for two days now. I keep getting an error on the site. Is there a problem? Is this a lesbian only forum?

Hi,

Anyone with a working email address is free to register, sex and sexual preferences are irrelevant. Once you register a confirmation email will be sent to you to make your account live, you may want to check your junk/spam box in case it finds its way there by accident.
