Great story, even though I'll always be a Mirandy fan. One thing I noticed in this chapter was how Miranda had a language barrier problem. It's kind of an assumption that the people can't speak English, but it's probably not true. I've been to several parts of Greece recently (last month) and a lot of the people there can speak English or at least understand parts of it. Same as in other countries. English is kind of a universal language these days.

I completely agree with that. I was thinking that they were in a more obscure part of Greece that was further away from touristy areas. I've always found that the further away from the touristy areas the fewer people you'll find speaking English. But I do completely agree, English is extremely universal at this point.

What a great chapter! I sure hope that Cass isn't out for the next season of LaCrosse--then she'll really have something to be upset about. I can just see spending the day with a silent Miranda at the doctor's office, let alone in a foreign country and with some language issues to over come. I know what a pain it can be to be clouded with emotions and stress and have to try to talk to someone and get a point across when there's a language issue. No matter where you are that can be an issue. I've had trouble communicating in English at work and I'm in California!
I hope you update soon now that the happiness is being shared and they can start to enjoy their time as a group. Thanks!

I'm glad the twins didn't just smile w/ rosy cheeks and suddenly become perfect children as so often happens in this fandom. Realistic update, I liked it.
