I was watching a Stargate SG:1 t'other day, and the episode where Vala snaps a bracelet onto Daniel's wrist which makes it impossible for them to be away from each other would make a great 'Mirandy' fic.
Could start in Paris perhaps, Andy runs away wearing the twin to Miranda's but collapses in the street, causing Miranda to collapse at the show as well? That, and the resulting tension would be rather awkward.
Could be any time really. Pre/Post Paris, AU timeline. Have a play.
I think the idea is that they have to be within a few meters. Imagine Bluetooth and that mythical 10 feet.

I know there has been several "stranded on a desert island" type fics written/started with Miranda and Andy, but what about one more like "Swiss Family Robinson" with the twins where they become a family to survive. Maybe when stranded (by boat in a storm?) Andy is still her assistant but as time goes by and MP sees what AS has to offer is not just survival tecniques, they fall in love.

I would prefer that Andy didn't work at Runway and was Miranda's assistant but worked as something else. I've thought maybe as a plus-size model. What ever the writer decides is fine for me. Say if it's in Miranda's direction and both women are in their late forties: what intrigue would ensue from a meeting where the editor meets her match? A woman who knows exactly who and what she is and can see right through Miranda and is not the least bit intimidated by the editor's fearsome persona.
Or conversely, if it's in Andy's direction and both women are in their mid-twenties: how would they affect each other's development and maturity? Would a softer, less steely Miranda be attractive to Andy? Would they be friends or lovers? And if lovers, would it be lifelong commitment or a short lived affair?

I'd love to read a story of them stranded somewhere with the twins and as a family have to come together to survive. So hope someone takes the idea =) maybe add in a bit of Mirandy bickering lol :p

I would love to read a story where Andy was actaully overweight, and Miranda fell in love with her. I would prefer that Andy didn't work at Runway and was Miranda's assistant but worked as something else. I've thought maybe as a plus-size model. What ever the writer decides is fine for me. I just would like to see this written out.

What would happen to the Miranda/Andrea dynamic if the woman were the same age?
Say if it's in Miranda's direction and both women are in their late forties: what intrigue would ensue from a meeting where the editor meets her match? A woman who knows exactly who and what she is and can see right through Miranda and is not the least bit intimidated by the editor's fearsome persona.
Or conversely, if it's in Andy's direction and both women are in their mid-twenties: how would they affect each other's development and maturity? Would a softer, less steely Miranda be attractive to Andy? Would they be friends or lovers? And if lovers, would it be lifelong commitment or a short lived affair?

Enter Runway’s editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly who must play nice with the new, young, naïve, horribly dressed, and unilaterally controlling head of the company. How do these two forces of nature deal with one another through the transition of leadership? What does each learn about the other? Do they fall in love?
