This was such a beautiful update and the graveside scene was so moving.

Caroline is so happy to be living with her mother again and it is nice to see how well she gets on with Andrea too ;-)

Caroline still has one more week of her old school, but then she'll move in for good. (I know this cause I'm a geek who looked up the calender and school terms of that year... LOL!)

I say this nearly everytime, but I just love how you write these two together, and the other characters. It's so beautiful, the details, the lines they say, just wow! I'm in awe of you and what you come up with! Miranda's worries about their age difference was very well done, and then Andy singing and playing guitar for Miranda was such a beautiful moment, and the scene visiting Cassidy and Miranda singing bought tears to my eyes, and then the playfulness in the kitchen had me grinning like an idiot!

"This situation gave every signal of working out and she realised that sooner, rather than later, she would need to ask Andrea to move in with them. They might become a small family with a broken background and some unforgettable pains, but they would stick together and take care of each other, and Miranda knew that they would make each other very happy."

Just fantastic <3 I already love the small family they have become. Andy and Caroline get along so well, it's great

I struggled with it, I don't really know why. I wrote this whole other thing... but then it felt all wrong. At first I tried to edit it, but that didn't work out so I started all the way from the beginning again... ^_^;

I'm really happy the final version meets your approval! :D

Although there are still a few bumps in their way (the story needs suspense and a climax, right? :P) I think they will make the perfect little family! :D

Phew! Glad you liked it! xD I was so confused at some point that I wondered if the writing would suffer... ^_^;

The cake scene had been in my head since the moment I thought of Caroline moving in with her mom. I just knew Miranda needed cake in her life and what better occasion that celebrating your daughter's birthday, huh? xD :D

Emily... well... in my "other" version of this chapter, she was an even bigger, unbelievable bitch and it felt all wrong. The way I see her, she's just frustrated with herself, and she's jealous, although she might not even know that yet. She will still play a crucial part, but she isn't really evil. Just her normal Emily self... ^_^
