Meryl as Evita?!

To ad on to silentrevyrie’s previous post, did you know that Meryl was actually going to play Eva Peron in the Evita movie, but for some banal reason, the filming of the movie was postponed? By the time it was finally scheduled to actually start filming, Meryl was unavailable and after along period of searching, they cast Madonna instead. Don’t get me wrong, Madonna does a brilliant job, it’s just…imagine if it was Meryl singing those songs. I don’t know how high Meryl’s voice rang is, but either way it would have been perfect.
