(no subject)
it's good to be back in the burg and have everyone back here. I came home on Monday night and let me tell you it was COMPLETELY deserted and really very creepy. I was walking down campus walk and saw a grand total of one person... that never happens. And it was like 7 oclock at night... not normal at all.
Monday night Caitlin and I had an interesting night. I got home unpacked and we called a cab to go to Central Park for dinner. We went shopping for Kelly's birthday gifts as well. Well the lady who answered the phone never told me how long it would take the taxi to get here so we waited outside for a while but it eventually came. We went shopping and then we went to Texas Steakhouse and Saloon and ate real, quality meat. The problem was Caitlin is about the size of me and between the two of us we had rolls, a plate full of onion ring things... onion blossum I think its called, a salad, a rack on bbq ribs, a baked potatoe, chicken tenders, and some fries. Well... needless to say most of the food was taken home with us because we couldn't finish it all. so we called the taxi again at like 10:10 to get a ride back... it didn't get to the resturant until about 11 oclock. we were a little sketched out at one point but after a while we were ok... but cold. so then we got in the cab and we were back at UMW behind Jefferson and Caitlin couldn't get out of the cab. she literally got locked in that freaking cab and her, me, and the cab driver had to get it open. finally we got Caitlin out and we came back here and I unpacked a little and then we watched Cellular and I slept in Caitlin's room because she was scared after the movie.
Tuesday everyone came back. Caitlin and I got up that morning and decorated Kelly's door for her birthday. we put balloons on it and a random pinata that I found... yes we did put candy in the pinata! later on Caitlin, Sully, Kasey, Melanie, Kelly, and I walked downtown and got ice cream and Jules met us there after getting off the train which apparently was no fun for her. it was good to see everyone even after a couple days. when it was just Caitlin and I in the section is was quiet and lonely and I didn't like it so thank goodness everyone is back!
I managed to not fail my philosophy exam... I don't know how I pulled it off but I did... not by much but I didn't fail... maybe high school philosophy didn't fail me. or maybe just being the ultimate fluffler/bullshit writer helped... who knows. all I know is I didn't fail my college midterms. now I must pick classes for next semester... damn you 8 stupid goals I must fulfill!
