He claims that he detests the color green.
He’s thoroughly lying.
He may have hated the color for the majority of his childhood and blatantly refuse to own a single item of green clothing, but the instant he saw her eyes part of him said, “Well, maybe it’s not so bad.”
He could probably care less about her hair, the color of flames that it is. He’s always liked fire, which is why he pulled it that infamous day in their first year. He likes being burned.
But her eyes, those are different. Those changed him. He wants only green eyes to exist in the world because a world without her isn’t a world at all.
She ignores him, calls him a prat, gets mad at him, refuses to address him by anything but “Potter”.
He doesn’t care. He’s watching her eyes.
Their children will have those eyes. She just doesn’t know it yet.
Such nice green eyes.
They changed his world.
