Loss of a dream.....
I have had a dream of going to a Civil War Ball in period garb as long as I can remember. Tonight after reading reenactor blogs for hours I feel I am coming to the reality that I wont be able to be accepted as a woman unless I am "perfect" as passing as a woman. For years I haven't tried such things as real hair removal time over time. I haven't practiced to "Be" a woman. I am a drag queen, I use make up and attitude to add to my personality.
I accept the fact I have not been to a ball or reenactment in garb, man or woman. I accept I need to go test the waters first as a male. I am working to do that first, but I am feeling that the real thing I want might be asking too much.
