The Secret History
I am so convinced that the whole reason why Procopius wrote The Secret History was because he was jealous of Theodora. He definitely had a man-crush on Emperor Justinian. Why else would he devote so much of his great work to slandering the chick? I mean, Theodora did lots of awesome shit, such as persuade Justinian to kill everyone during the Nika riots. Plus, she was totally hot. Why else would one such as the Emperor hook up with a circus whore? As for Procopius, well, I guess you can't blame him for wanting a piece of this.
