Estrella Rain Delay
Meh. I was supposed to be on site by now, but trailer wiring issues and a heavy morning rain delayed things. When it was critical go/don't-go time, the trailer was still shorting out if you used the running lights and the site was "no longer slushy and they might open the internal roads soon". So we decided to fix the trailer and head out early tomorrow instead. This will give the camp area has a little more time to dry before we get there. Plus, it means an extra night in my own bed and enjoying central heating.
Of course, 10 minutes after the decision was made, the rain stopped and blue skies appeared in the west. It's absolutely gorgeous right now, but there wouldn't be time to set up before it got dark.
Enh. Not a big loss. My main Monday plan was to unload the rapier supplies, which I got done on Thursday. My only secondaries were setting up my own camp and helping at Aten Royal, both of which I can do tomorrow just as easily.
Still, there's a part of me going "If I left now...."
