Sturm und Drang
Man, what is with the weather lately? It's been one nasty storm after another lately and not all of it can be because of hurricanes down in the gulf. I'm just happy the power hasn't gone out. It was 90% humidity the other day. We'd roast in the house without the AC.
The dog got fixed Monday. After she got back from the vet she had the really, really sad look on her face. Of course, if someone dragged me off to get fixed I'd feel the same way. But she's pretty much back to normal by now and harrasing the cat every chance she gets.
I'm watching the first disk of "Full Metal Panic". I'd forgotten how much I liked this show. Reminds me of why I had the lead character, Sosuke, as my LJ avatar for so long. Bitchy or not, Chidori is still pretty awesome. And hot.
I didn't feel like dealing with subtitles so I just watched the dub. It's a really good dub, but the "Hello, Japanese pretty girls!" line was funnier in the original. The FMP VAs are also pretty cool in real life from what the C-Kon folks tell me.
No word from JET again today. Continue to feel depressed about that.
