Azuma Fever

I'm backkk!!!

Well, glad to be back. And I can't believe that it's been 8 months since my last post!! Time really flies, huh?

Anyway, this time I'm back with 'Azuma Fever'!

Don't really know the history of the restaurant (gomenasai, Azuma Sensei *bows*). But I love the food so much!!! =D

I'm a new fan. Went there for the first time two years ago for my and my sis' birthdays. Both of us really enjoyed every bite of it. Thinking of it now made me want to go again, haha XD.

This year, me and my sis took my parents there for dad's birthday. Both of my parents keep praising the food as the food comes. And they also protested that how come we did not take them there earlier, haha XD. They love Azuma so much, that we went there again when my oldest sister came back from London, few days after.

We've had the degustation menu, sukiyaki, and ala carte. Every food are just beautiful and the staffs were courteous and friendly. Below are some of the pictures.

For the drinks, we ordered cocktail. iced lemon tea, and the mocktails (apple blossom and momo).

Apple Blossom

Momo

Both mocktails are refreshing. I'm specially fond of the apple blossom.

This is a picture of the appetiser.

Forgot what it's called, but it's a fried fish with special sauce. It was so nice!! The appetiser can actually change subject to seasonality, but luckily we got this on our second and third visit.

Azuma-style Amuse-bouche

The grilled silver cod is so delicious and loving the spinach with sesame dressing.

Udon!!

Love the udon very much. It's just matched my taste very well.

This is the special of the day. It got some king oyster mushroom, scallops, and...abalone? Hahaha, such a bad memory. But I remember this was very fragrant and got some nice flavor. Yumm...

And now, time has come for our favorites. Dessert!!!

Like all three. The ice cream flavor changed everytime we go, which is good and make it feel new and fresh everytime. Excellent creme-brule! But got to say that the chocolate mousse stole our hearts.

I truly wish they sell this in Azuma Patisserie.

Another note is, it was a pleasant surprise that we got a cookie with our name on it for our birthday. Although it's only a plain cookie, but to get something specially made for your birthday? Now, that's what I called 'sweet treat'! ^____^

Thank you, Azuma! We'll definitely be back! ^^
