When you come to Sydney, to go to Fish Market is definitely a MUST!
Here are just a few hints of what you can find there...
Sydney Fish market is a place where once you went there, you'll definitely miss it from time to time.
The other day, me and sis were feeling a bit malnourished since we've been very lazy to go to the market to buy fresh ingredients (by fresh ingredients, I mean any raw cooking material, such as meat, fish, vege, fruits, etc).
It was a very hot day and we went to swim in the pool around the complex.
Recently, sis is always a bit down when it's time to think of what to eat. Not because we don't like to eat (coz we do!=D), but simply because there's no material to cook, haha XD
And we eat out a lot lately, which makes resto food taste kinda similar (i.e. boring~~=p)
And then when we're about to finish swimming, she swam towards me with bright and sparkling eyes, saying: "Sis, how bout Fish Market today?"
Hearing those two-words, my spirit shoots-up for some reason! Next thing we know, we're on our way to Fish Market, both with bright sparkling eyes and smiles on our faces ^______^
Here are the food highlights of that day.
SALMON SASHIMI
Although I heard that tuna sashimi is more popular and of better quality, I beg to disagree.
Here is our true love, salmon sashimi. See the beautiful colour?
And there is an Indonesian sashimi lady who I think is very cool. She cut the sashimi very fast and precise, haha...Thank you for the fresh pick!^^
SEAWEED SALAD
The seaweed salad is also superb~
SCALLOPS
What can I say about the scallops? Hmmm~~I don't know~too busy wiping my drool...haha..XD
OYSTERS
This is my sis' favourite, nyamm~~
After eating, felt very healthy and high-spirited!!!
Tsukiji Fish Market also left a deep impression to me. Not only it has a very fresh salmon, but I just love the ramen in the area. Hahaha, I know, so random right? XD...Dunno the store name, but the ramen just simply delicious and love the tea too (and we actually eat it straight after we had the salmon don in Tsukiji). When we passed the store, there was a very long queue and there were some television crews too. I wonder if we've got recorded as well, haha...*duz stares to sky, feeling nostalgic*
