Updates are infrequent when I am not very proud of the progress I've made.
Well, specifically, I am not very proud of the academic progress I've made... but maybe that shouldn't be too surprising.
I just realized I could spend 4 hours doing "nothing," but being semi-productive.
I studied for a good hour or so earlier "tonight" (it's 8:36am at the moment, and I haven't slept yet). After that, I decided to take a break while I burn the Netflix dvd's I have. Somehow, I ended up reading a blog, then began to finally organize my bookmarks, then read this travel journal called "my jetset life." After that, I watched Pauschman's "Last Lecture."
Comments:
- the "Last Lecture" isn't great, but it's definitely good, and I got something out of it
- from the jetset blog, I wanted to share:
http://www.jetsetlife.tv/robsblog/dreamlining-the-four-hour-work-week-and-living-jet-set/- I realized that this fucking bitch whom I grew quite jealous of was (I suspect) making money from promoting certain books and products on her fucking blog, and decided to delete it from my favorites... I had just added it today because I was intrigued with her list of Top 10 movies to get you in the mood to travel, or something like that. And it had listed one of my recent favorites "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" as the top movie.
I was originally quite intent on going to visit my friend in Seoul, but the idea of going to Taiwan for New Year's was very appealing. I had asked one of my friends in LA if he had any plans for winter vacation, and he was down to go somewhere he hasn't been yet. And so Taiwan entered the picture... but ticket prices are about 1k right now, and, for me, that's on the high end of a plane ticket. It'll also be from Dec 26 to Jan 4, and I'm now leaning toward going to "Together As One," a NYE party in LA...
I don't want to go back on my word, having told my friend that I'd visit him.
I love Pepsi. I prefer it from a fountain, then from a glass bottle, then from a can, and lastly from a plastic bottle. I'm eyeing the McDonald's cup in front of me, but it's empty, and I'm really craving it right now.
