My newest friends are Peter and Jennie. It'd be great to have a streak of meeting one great friend every year of my life, hehe. Some movies off the top of my head that were really good include Transformers, 3:10 to Yuma, Bourne Ultimatum, and Tiger and the Snow. The latter was especially endearing as it leaves you with a really good feeling. It's hard to come by a movie that leaves you with a smile.
I recently watched Juno, which was very good. The first 10 minutes were a bit annoying because I couldn't stand the way the kids talked... then I was quickly overcome with the feeling that I'm an old man. I realized this is how kids talk these days, and I am out of the loop. I hope that when I find a home to call my own, and regularly working after graduation, I can re-subscribe to Wizard (a magazine about comic books and the up and coming) and Toyfare (same company as just-mentioned, except about toys), and watch more cartoons. I don't wanna grow up! Anyway, Juno was very well done, and I want a daughter like that, except with the having a baby in her teens part. (I mean, I'd like a strong, articulate girl).
2007 was the first year I got hollered at on the street. WOO! Very flattering. I love Vegas.
