Seashore Bevy

At the Seashore

Four lovely ladies frolicking in a summer sea, The wind-swept spray just glistening as bright as bright can be.
Their laughter rings along the beach, the sunshine hot and hazy, And all the while they ran and splashed, and acted kind of crazy.

Four pair of arms raised gracefully as the churning waves come close, Four pair of legs jump frantically to escape the salty dose.. Four comely figures skip and play, and let it all hang out, Four nymphs set free from misery can now cavort and shout!

The buxom blonde was on the left, her gleaming tresses blowing, Next to her a tanned brunette kicked high, her ankles showing. A fiery crown of red adorned the bouncing beauty by her side, The surf had swept her off her feet and was giving her a ride!

One last figure, raven-haired, dove deep beneath a breaker.. A flash of white for our delight, to see where it would take her. Anxiously we strained our eyes, her presence now unknown, When she suddently erupted in a burst of sun drenched foam!

Four lovely ladies frolicking in a summer sea, A bevy of enchantment; this quartet of belles set free, Their laughter rings along the beach, amidst the seagull cries, And if memory serves this poet then the scene will never die!

Inspired by my wife of +50yrs. who loved to change the color of her hair!
