"About Me"
Doing a biographical sketch thing for a professor. This is the last paragraph, and I'm editing it because it's too personal, ironically. I'll leave the first sentence, but after that, *snip*. So I'm posting it here, because I think it's a good picture of my interests.
" When not working on school projects, I play my fiddle and enjoy reading a variety of books from classic literature to fantasy and science fiction. I enjoy watching TV shows and analyzing them for historical and cultural themes, particularly older shows such as the original Star Trek, I Dream of Jeannie, and to a lesser extent the A-Team. Current shows such as Leverage also offer a very interesting view of the contemporary mindset of the general public. One of my favorite books is The Once and Future King by T.H. White, and I thoroughly enjoy Sherlock Holmes and a number of Shakespeare's plays. My favorite author is Terry Pratchett, for his wonderful fantasy/satire novels of the Discworld. "
