Hoo Boy! That's a lot of drama for an hour or two. The action is fast and furious and you still managed to add a new character, a French 21 year old PI.

Emily is a shinning star that Miranda tossed out on her skinny rear w/o thought. Glad Nigel gave it to her with both barrels. After so many years you'd think Miranda would give Emily a chance to speak- alas but she wouldn't be Miranda then. Emily also trying to save DeSaix-- even if it requires dealing with icky Senator. Perhaps Emily deserves a medal for most improved human being. She's awesome in this fic!

Sweet to see Cassidy secure as a lesbian and up on proper use of slander. : ) Caroline is a young MP in presence and style when looking at goth fashion for her sister. Perhaps young poetry puppy love is in store for Caroline if she is interested. His verse better be good or Caroline will not be impressed.

Here's what I wonder for the next installment:
Will Miranda locate Emily and try to rehire her with a raise before heading to Italy? Will Nigel turn his tongue blue before he outs his beau or pass out instead?

Glad that you're still enjoying the ride. Hope I can keep you caught up in the tale until it ends.

The new character has her part to play in the coming installments, but I'm sure you had already figured that out.

Miranda is Miranda. I thought what she did was completely in character. And Emily is determined to save DeSaix. I think you may enjoy the twisted way that is work out. By the time she's done she may be deserving of a medal.

Cassidy is probably the most nebulous major character as far as her development in my mind. I do see her as comfortable in her own skin and the fact that she's gay is just how she is. She has, of course, not yet experienced how difficult it can be to be different. Ian and Caroline and young puppy love is possibly on the horizon.

As far as Miranda and Emily, does Miranda ever rehire anybody? And what makes you think I'm going to allow Miranda to go to Italy? Nigel better get his make-out sessions as soon as he can. Miranda may be on her way back to New York with the intention of using his hide for a new leather coat.
