Finals are officially done! I'm heading home tomorrow! Gah, so pumped. It sucks leaving, I am going to miss people, but at the same time I want Christmas to be here. It is the best time of the year. Catching the train tomorrow at ten in the morning and getting outta here.
Woke up this morning with a mobile alert from my bank telling me my checking was at negative twenty dollars. Suffice it to say, somehow my card information was stolen and there had been a hundred dollar charge on my card from New Jersey. I called the bank only to find out that after that purchase was made, my card had been declined because someone attempted at two more one hundred-fifty dollar charges. I had to cancel my debit card, and now I'm waiting to be able to file a claim with the bank since the charge offered no information to contact them. Plus, I had to transfer money into my checking in order to cover the overdraft, so I need to make sure I'm not being charged an overdraft charge because of this bull. Not such a great way to wake up in the morning, that's for sure. But, still, I get to go home for a month and the Hawks game is on Versus tonight! I was uncontrollably awwing during PKane's NHL36 episode. He was so awkward with all the cameras around him.
Can't believe all of the players out with concussions right now. My thoughts are with all of them. It can't be easy, I think I might feel the worst for Crosby, though. Hockey genuinely seems like his life. I don't think that three weeks is enough to satisfy any hockey player, let alone someone who was out for so long.
Oh, I got a Tumblr! I really didn't believe in all of the Jeff Skinner flailing that was supposedly happening on Tumblr, but oh my god. I will never be able to wrap my mind around the fact that he is called "Baby Skinner" when he is nineteen (um.. older than me, am I an infant, then?). Or, how dedicated and ferocious a lot of his fans seem to be. They're so defensive and angry! I just want to find different pictures and videos! The internet is definitely a place where you just have to sit back and scratch your head sometimes (watch as I artfully ignore my own flailing on LJ).
