KONBAWA!

Dinner for today!

Udon' mine, vermicelli is muh sis's.
Nestle's milk tea SUCKS.
Yoghurt was.. yoghurt.
Sorry, didn't buy onigiri to annoy Kane and Allie. No money.
(My sister is currently furiously calculating how we are going to live for the next few days. :( Life sucks without money.)

FUJI TV. IT WAS GREAT.
That ball thing is just something I bought for myself for fun. Got cookies inside. Cute hoh.

YES OKAY, long verbal vomit again.
Woke up too late to go Tsukiji. Anyone surprised?
Went to Asakusa. ASAKUSA <3 <3!
Soooo cultural and the atmosphere was GREAT! <3
Really reallllyyy exciting. The food stalls!!!!! Omg, we spent a bomb there on food. The little stalls selling all sorts of great things. TALKING ABOUT GREAT THINGS!

*Scrambles off*

Yes okay, we went to 求签。(Correct chinese norts?! Chinese faillll...)
I got 33. WHICH READS:

When spring comes, withered tree blooms so charming. The sweet smell fills in the wood field and the sky. Your fortune will go developing your chance. The bright moon comes to shine among the fading clouds. Meeting a person of high social status, his help will bring you a happy life.

Your request will be granted. The patient will get will soon. The lost article will be found. The person you wait for will come. Building a new house and removal are both well. Marriage and employment are both well. To start a trip is well.

HALLO KAME AND JIN! :D
MARRIAGE IS GOOD.
HAVE YOU SEEN HOW ADORABLE THE BABIES HERE ARE? YOU HAVE NO IDEA OKAY, NO IDEA. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY DFKDJFAESKLC GORGEOUS. <3 <3
I WANT A JAPANESE BABY.
There was this little boy at Asakusa. He was sitting on the floor alone messing around with his shoe and I took out my camera, ready to take his photo. He turned away but I ran to the other direction and took a photo of him anyway. Hahaha. Then I ran away laughing. i am evil hello.
Later when we were about to leave. there was this little girl STARING at me while her mother was dragging her to cross the road. SO CUTE ADKJFASKDJFAL.

Okay, I chose the right day cuz there was some Matsuri (festival) and it was all great. The food was great, have I told you that?
OH YES. For the matsuri, men were dressed in like... short yukataish tops that end just barely below their bums. They didn't wear bottoms yo yo. LEGS GALORE.
Hoho, a million photos to show you WAN RONG.

THE FOOD WAS FANTABULOUS!
We wanted to buy everything back but impossible. You need to eat it hot!
MY FIRST FULLY JAPANESE CONVERSATION HAPPENED HERE.
What did you expect? The only thing I master is how to order food.
I ordered manju (fried bun thingy.) in Japanese and because there were a lot of foreigners around, the cashier/cook was sooo relieved someone could speak Japanese and he didn't have to punch the total cost in the calculator he rambled on and on to me. (Erm, I understood 1/2. Sorry uncle.)

Okokay, great food and great atmosphere. You get the point.
BIANG BIANG. ASAKUSA IS THE RED LANTERN PLACE! HAHAHAHA.
They were selling the red lanterns EVERYWHERE.

Next stop: Odaiba. <3 <3 <3

The past few days has made JR Yamanote line my chummy gummy.
Today, I ventured into the Tokyo Metro Line and Yurikamome Line
(I AM TURNING INTO A OTAKU OBSSESSED WITH TRAINS!)

ODAIBA IS MIND BLOWINGLY PRETTYYYY.
The buildings! WOWOWZAH.

Palette Town. The Venetian Macau? Yes, something like that, just that a lot more family-friendly and dogs are allowed.
(ALL THE DOGS! SOOO SMALLLLL)
ALLLIIIE. WE ATE CREPES. MUWAHAHA.
Cherry chu-hi sucks.
Then, we walked around the arcade.
You know those arcade machines where you try and pick up soft toys?
I swear the integral criteria to be a boyfriend is to be able to work those machines.
There were couples everywhere and the girls were ALLLL carryings bags of prizes pls. I tried and failed terribly.
OOOH! There was this little boy sitting at the coin machine. Where you drop coins in and it pushes other coins and hopefully you push enough so all the coins in teh machine drop out? He was amazing. He had like to pail-ful of coins lah! He filled the pail, and brought it over to his mom sitting at other game machine! And then he came back and continued playing! I was sooo stunned I sat there and watched him for 15 mins. Was he brought up in an arcade or something?!

JAPAN'S MARKETING STRATEGY. I am going to sound REALLY GEEKY BUT I DON'T CARE.
Fuji TV is a broadcasting station, the building is where all the indoor filming takes place. Big deal right?
They have tours around the building. These tours are SO WELL PLANNED.
For 500 yen, you get a card where you have to explore the building and get stamps so eventually you exchange for a gift or something.
WHO IS THIS TARGETED AT?
1) Kids - treasure hunt is always fun yo.
2) Females - the stamp machines around the building is WAY TOO CUTE. The kawaii-ness makes ALL girls want to do it.
3) Males - Hello, completist freaks. To give them a mission, they will never back down till they finish it.

Okay, I fail at explaining but really, the whole thing is extremely well-planned. It is free and easy and no tour guides needed. No unnecessary labour required (welll, they have people at each lift opening the doors for you though.) Freedom to explore at your own pace but you have that stamp thingy to ensure you have gone to all the places.
OOH. KAME WAS AT FUJI TV JUST THIS MORNING LAH. ASKDJFA;KSJDF.
I switched on my tv at 7:32am and I saw KAMEEEEEE. I was kya kya-ing. And I digress.

You get to take an elevator to the 24th storey for free. They block out half the floor. The half that has a GREAT VIEW. The side we can access is awesome already but you know the other side is EVEN BETTER. And then there is a lift to the 25th floor. Where you pay to go up to.
DEVIOUS LITTLE THINGS, I SWEAR.

OOOOH. This Japanese couple asked me to take a photo for them so I did. They told me to take them at the rainbow bridge as the backdrop.
I had to tell them they were blocking the bridge so I said that in Japanese (and impressed my sister WOOSH!)
But I realised I sounded really fierce. :( (Hello mah name is yamamba Lynne. I am uncouth and tanned. TANNED! I AM TANNED IN JAPAN! THAT IS RIDICULOUS BUT I AM!)
Anyway, this caucasian couple wanted to take a photo so I offered and they treated me as a Japanese trying to bow to me.
Then this Japanese couple tried to self-take and I saw so I offered again! (I should have collected 50 yen per photo prs)
Then I finally took one for my sister!
And my camera batt went flat then. :( No LYNNE AND RAINBOW BRIDGE! I HELP SO MANY PEOPLE TAKE I NO HAVVVEEE! WOE.
Okay yes, so we went into their Fuji TV merchandise store. WOW OKAY WOW. They selll everything!!!
I saw Last Friend's cup! I wanted to get the Ruka one for Jorene but I was jostled away and I forgot about it. -_-"
KANE-SAN! No hiyashi rice mix. HAHAHA. I got you something though! (Quick say you love me.)

ALLLIIIIEEE, MEGA HUGE POSTERS OF KONKATSU YO. CAMERA FLAT SO I DIDN'T MANAGE TO TAKE A PHOTOOO.
There was Atashinchi no Danshi and BOSS beside it as well.

Odaiba is where Tokyo Olympic 2015 (I think 15?) is supposed to be held or something? They had lands cordoned off with the Olympics sign. (Their slogan is "Uniting our world" OUR? JAPAN'S?! WOW.) They have another slogan which goes something like, "Nihon darkara, dekiru!" (Because it is Japan, we can do it!)
We bought a ticket to Aomi station but I was sooo facinated by their infrastructure we took all the way to the en and then switched trains to go back to Aomi. Hehehe.
The Big Sight! Their convention centre. A KAZILLION TIMES PRETTIER THAN OUR EXPO HELLO.
I saw the photos of the Big Sight and Fuji TV building online but NOTHING compared to being there to see for yourself. Really.

And then just because we wanted to save 60 yen, we walked to the nearest station we could get to before having to cross the rainbow bridge.
We actually wanted to cross the bridge on foot but we couldn't find the stupid starting point.
AND YES WE ARE BACK AT OUR HOTEL AT 7PM.
I AM TIRED OGAY.
