time slippes as sand
through our hands
and does not stop
for what purpose, 'op'
we do say in Dutch,
meaning worn out:
the days go slowly
with more and more
difficultly.
Only the beauty
brought in from nature
breaks the daily grind
like nature grinds the stone
till nothing is left
as sand of time
