The Fabulous Life of...
so much going on right now...
1. The Crucible is coming along well for the most part. I still need to get my lines completely down in Acts 1 and 4 but other than that everything will be great. We have after school rehearsals from now until the play opens...Mondays and Thursdays 3-5 and Tues 6-8...I'm not in Act 2 so I do have Wednesdays off!
2. I'm finally getting somewhere with my correspondence. It's just so hard to start! Once I start, I finish fairly quickly. I'm on lesson 5 out of 12, so I wanna have it knocked out and have my midterm and final taken by the end of February.
3. I am doing Props for Enchanted April at ACT. I'm actually kind of excited because Lorna said I might be Dominico, the Italian servant, which means all of my lines would be Italian! It doesn't matter...but I would like it just to be something!
4. School starts back tomorrow...well actually today. I SO do not wanna go back. But I try to look on the bright side of things...this is the last semester of high school. It's almost the end! And that makes me oh-so-excited. But January should fly...this week is a 4-day week...then we have a 4-day weekend. Then I go to school for 2 days...then BETA Convention (which makes it a 5-day weekend). Then another week and January's almost over!
5. I'm not working anymore because I told my mom I was having trouble doing work and school because school got really rough last nine weeks. So she said as long as I keep my grades up and stuff she'll pay for my gas/insurance and give me money to go out sometimes. I also may work at Carriage House on some weekends if Corey tells me they need help...just to make some extra dollas!
6. I really need to do my wreath! I'm making a Louisiana-themed wreath for BETA Convention (I had to do something stupid so I could go) and Convention is next week...so I really need to get it done.
7. I saw Brokeback Mountain...it was just simply AMAZING. I loved everything about it...the shots, the story, the direction, the actors...well I didn't like the ending, but who did? It was one of the most touching movies I've ever watched. Although it kind of upset me. No one wanted Jack to die! Even though we all knew the story. I have a LOT of respect for Heath and Jake...it takes balls and someone who is extremely comfortable with their sexuality to play a gay guy...even though Jake bats for both teams! :)
...well I'm gonna try to go to bed. I'm convinced I have some kind of sleeping disorder. I just can't sleep at night. I've tried EVERYTHING! But hey I guess I just have to deal with it...don't wanna get hooked on sleeping pills!
All in all...I'm pretty content with the way my life is going right now!
