kungfu sketch--inked

I made the horse bigger and slightly shorter, and made his chin less. I'm kind of sad that the inked version looks less lively than the sketch, though. =( I guess that it happens because there are less lines flying about, but if I could figure out a way to keep the sense of movement without spontaneously splattering ink all over the place, then ( Read more... )

Hah, don't mind what that pandoro person is saying, you have an inking style of your own, that doesn't resemble anyone else. You should be very proud of it.
Having a drawing style is nice, but having an inking style is somewhat a dream - at least for me :)
If there are inking errors must be at proton size because I don't see them.
In any case, I only suggest that you post a bit larger pictures, (or closeup, I'd like to see one of this guy for example), so we can appreciate their beauty better ;)

Mwahaha... She's sleeping right now, and I left a stuffed animal on her head! *cackles*

;P She'll... uh... respond later when she gets online. Sorry. *flees~!*

Ehehhe, I don't consider that I have an inking style. ^^;; It's essentially just tracing what I drew, or in a bunch of cases, randomly choosing to ink a lines in a mess of lines that I drew, because I can't draw cleanly. That sort of thing leads to the errors when I choose wrong. ;x

There was one on the horse's cheek (though it actually looks ok now), 2 places on the guy's clothes, etc. Ohh boy, and if you see a bigger version of this, you'll see my inking of his hair made him look like he has dandruff! ^^;;

I didn't post a bigger pic bcause I thought it'd irritate people to have to scroll too much to see a pic. I'll post a bigger one when I get it from the other computer! :D Thanks so much for your comments!

I added a link to a larger version scan, but it's really low quality. :x And I can't rescan unless I peel all the masking fluid off. ^^;; Next time I'll do some better larger scans!

Thanks for the link! Whoa, what a beautiful seductive face O_o As said, you should really post close up of characters you draw!

Oh man, not me! XD I'm actually the opposite, I'm a bit 'doh' when I see small pictures because I can't appreciate the details enough....
