official first day of summer.
junior guards began.
and i am a captain.
therefore i am ms. helgeson.
and all the little kids are scared that i am going to make them do push ups.

anyways...today i sat a tower on the beach with a lifeguard and i got to use the radio saying "5200, tower 5 captain, we've got a black ball alert near the rivermouth about 25 yards downcoast."
and then i got to kick valleys off the beach who were skimmboarding.
go home valleys.
my eyes are burning from the sun.
