My parents work for New Enterprise Stone & Lime Company. They're based out of Roaring Springs. That's the place with the awesome water and stange smell. And if you know anything about water purification, than you know that limestone is a key ingredient in "good tasting water." Therefor both Roaring Springs Bottled Water and New Enterprise Stone & Lime Company are pretty well set in their little town. It's really an economical dream of sorts. A multi-product town. The abundancy of limestone in the area ensures plenty of employment and superfluous business for many, many years to come.
New Enterprise Stone & Lime are quite successful and they treat and pay their employees very well. I don't know my dad's real title, but I've been told, simply, that he's a "boss." My family has never had a problem with money, yet my mom's a spendthrift. She's not the most selfless person I've ever met, but I love her nevertheless. We've never had the money to buy anything extravagant for the family, but we've always been comfortable. Every year New Enterprise Stone & Lime have an Annual New Enterprise Stone & Lime Company Picnic at Lakemont Park. They serve great food and give you all day ride wristbands. These wristbands aren't fun when you're seven and have an oral fixation. Anyway, fpr the past ten or so years I've been eating good bar-be-qued food and riding the sweet go karts. I always looked forward to the picnic and always brought a friend along with me. One year, I brought Chris Reid and we were riding the roller coaster and I hurt my neck. Needless to say, that was my least favorite year. Despite that year, I always anticipated that great day in the summer when my family would go down to Lakemont for the New Enterprise Stone & Lime Company Picnic. And unlike Christmas, it never got old. Even when I went down shortly after my 17th birthday, I still had a great time. And I could always flirt with the cute boys who worked at the go karts and maybe try to keep my kart and not have to get in the back of the line.
To make a long story short, Emma lives in Hollidaysburg. Not but three minutes away from Lakemont Park. How can I spend the rest of my life with someone who can achieve my greatest dreams by walking for five minutes?
