The Secret Of The Forest. PART 1

Not long after the last of the dragons flew beyond the sunset, there was a boy who gave his heart away. The girl who he had given his heart to did not deserve it at all. For his heart was pure and caring. And in his mind’s eye, the boy saw great things to come, and he lived a life guided by virtue. The girl would only go on to stifle those dreams and belittle his aspirations. This girl’s name hurt the ears of all. Some said it felt like a pinch on their soul, and others simply cared to not think about she made them feel at all. The boy knew the girl was not his True Love, but he always said “If I can’t reach the Sun, I will build a fire here on Earth, and resent all the yarns of true love that are spun.”
Then on one snow-clad night, when the fire he had built was nearly quenched by the cold, he saw a shooting star.
“Oh, Great Painter of the Sky, once again. . . it is I. I have but one wish this night; that the murmur in my heart, You would make right. That the tear that never seems to leave my eye, You would dry. The coming of Winter has brought an unbearable chill, and I try to carry on, but I fear I have lost all will.”
