Okay, here it is, my bi-weekly political rant:
Cheney: Iraq pullout 'worst possible thing we could do'
No. The worst possible thing you could do has already been done. Invading Iraq on false (and incorrect) pretenses.
"Withdrawing American troops from Iraq would embolden terrorists and leave the United States and its allies vulnerable to new attacks"
Does any sane person actually BELIEVE that the 'allied' presence in Iraq makes the US mainland a safer place, with regards to terrorism?
"No matter how you carve it -- you can call it anything you want -- but basically, it is packing it in, going home, persuading and convincing and validating the theory that the Americans don't have the stomach for this fight."
Don't have the stomach for this fight? Oh I see: this is all about losing face, isn't it?
How about "Doesn't want to waste billions of dollars on this fight"?
So if you have the choice between saving billions and billions of dollars (that can then be spent on feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and improving education) AND losing face, you'd rather lose the money? That's close to criminal...

Terrorists will lose interest in Iraq the DAY the 'allied forces' depart!
"History will judge this president as a very successful, very effective leader,"
Let's put some money on that, okay?
"My career will end politically with this administration,"
Assuming that he means "My political career will end ...etc" I take this as very good news for this country.
