My dear, you are talking to yourself here. Plus, you forgot to mention that I also ordered a bowl of the 18 cent soup ..which was actually pretty danged good. Sometime we will have to go into the pub and order only beer and the soup. It has been awhile since I have heard your "beer is food" speech.

No no, I was talking to Bob too!

And beer IS food!

But I think we should be able to get this soup cheap, even without having to order beer (clearly, I'm only theorizing here!!): what if we order TWO Irish parliament bean soups? Then is is NOT our only food item: so they should sell it to us for 36 cents total!
