Delft blue
Hello hello,
I had a pretty chill weekend. The only big thing I did was go to Delft yesterday. It is a very cute town and is about 20 minutes from Leiden. Its famous for its Delft-ware, which is the blue china. I bought a bowl at the flea market they were having, but I'm pretty sure its not real Delft-ware because it only cost me 2 euro and the stuff I saw in the stores cost about 20 euro for the same size thing. Oh well...it will just be our little secret. It rained a little while we where there, but would get sunny like 10 minutes later. We went to into two churches, the Old Church and the New Church. Vermeer is buried in the the Old Church, and the royal family is buried in the New Church. Tomorrow I begin my second class. It is called Political and Legal Philosophy, and should be pretty interesting. A lot of errands to run tomorrow too. Well I am going to go hang out at my friends apartment now. Tot ziens!
