This weeks adventures...
Let's see, what have I been up to? This weekend I went to Utrecht to visit my friend for his birthday. It was pretty fun. He has some Dutch friends there and it was weird because they keep telling me congratulations. I read in one of my books that they congratulate the family and friends of the person who's birthday it is, weird. On Tuesday me and my roommate and two other girls rode our bikes to the beach. It was supposed to take us 20 minutes but it ended up taking us 1 hour before we found it. At one point we were accidently heading back towards Leiden. The town, Katwijk aan Zee, was really small and cute. Looked like a typical place for a holiday. We walked along the beach and then walked it town before grabbing some frites with mayo and heading back to Leiden (it only took us 30 minutes to make it back). That night I went back to Utrecht for a student night at a club. I got to see a lot of my friends which was nice. It sucked though because on the way back the train broke down for like 30 minutes. Wednesday I went to the World Cup of Baseball in Rotterdam. I saw the USA vs. Cuba. Cuba won 11-3. It rained a little but was still fun. During the seventh inning stretch we all sang "Take me out to the ball game," but they had to put the words on the big screen...haha. Today I had my first class, Comparative Tort Law. It had a lot of international students in it which is cool. It is raining right now, but me and two of my roommates are going to head out to Den Haag (the Hague). Well I better go or I'll miss the bus. Love and miss you all!
