Living near Cleveland, Ohio I get wrapped up in the Browns, Indians, and Cavs. They have been letting the fans down for years. It's always, "well we're getting a new coach, we have a new plan", or some other bullshit. Really? I mean frickin really? One day, look at your disappointed fans and say that crap to their face! Yep, before the game, go on the PA system and say that crap to the fans! Not!!!!! I'm also a Buckeye alumni and well, although they didn't get "national" this year, their record was awesome.
We've lifted some of these players to rockstar status, and they make rockstar bucks. You get paid millions and drop a crucial pass, or throw a lame ass one, in front of my ass, as coach, I would bench you. Here's where I see a problem. Let's put money aside and look at the "nitty gritty". You work for me, then you are going to have to develop a "will to win" and "the courage to lose!" What's that? Frickin, "courage to lose?" Your all supposed to be professional athletes. The difference in your skills, and physical prowess is minimal. The guys that win, have the courage to lose.
What is it? The courage to lose is getting over the "fear of losing" and "knowing that you gave it your best shot!" You get paid in one year, what most of your fans make in a lifetime, your going to find that courage or go do something else! Yep, before your ass steps on that field, any field, you will not take that step until you've found that courage, and beat that fear. You know why? That separates winners from losers.
