So, lil quick update. The trio of us have new belts, aquired weekend before last. Jake made the Demo/Competition team (he and a girl from his age bracket/class are the youngest). Their first Demo is Oct. 14. Grandmaster will be here next week 0.0; Sooo much to do. We've lost of new things being implemented into the biz. M'getting dual training in KJMS and Taekwondo, as are the rest of us staffers. This weekend- want to go see The Protector >.< Missed getting to go this past weekend. Not happy about it, but ah, oh well. it happens. Plus, Jet Li's new/last flick's due out soon and will go see that at some point too. Mom moves in a week or two (or is she going on short trip for a month, coming back and /then/ moving?) Either way, I'm soon getting set adrift. Not that I've never lived on my own before, but I've always had the safety net of her being close by. She's going to be about 1500 miles away now, not so close, won't be able to see her any ol' time. *pout*
They're anticipating this to be the catalyst that brings me back home, but so long as things are going well at the dojo, I'm going nowhere it doesn't take me. Y'heard?
Slowly but surely catching onto the business aspects of work. That said, I've come to think of it as my life, not my job. Not just a career. Love it there that much, and hell- I'm there enough! ^_^
Even on bad days, I look forward to it. Lots in part, due to class at the end of the day. Jake's rockin there, and I think Joe's coming along. Though he still has his bad times and has already gotten his new belt taken for his temper. I'm sorry I passed that on to him, poor thing. But, at least he has an outlet for it, and hopefully something that'll help him transform it from aggression, into something a little more constructive and positive. He's only 4 for pete's sake. But, it's not an excuse, just a reason, and he's doing so much better. Most days. lol
In need of saving /more/ money. Not quite sure what I can lose to do that, but since I'm currently only on dial-up (stop gagging, it doesn't help!) I may just as well get rid of the second line. Dunno, dunno. Egads, there are a few amenities I need to take care of /right/ now while I think of it, so that's the end of this ranted update. Toodles!
Don't eat the spinach!
