The days of someone's life
Has been a while. Seems like I say that every time I update. Not as frequent as I used to be, but I am sure that no one minds that. Nice and warm outside today figured I would wash my car for the first time in a long time. Had to get the tar and dirt off of it and make it look nice, at least for a couple days. Not too sure yet what the plan is for the weekend. Waiting to hear from the Chauvins about tonight, maybe some dinner and some drinks. Everybody loves drinks.
Tried to go back to work this week, but to no avail. Because I have restrictions on me now and I don't have the seniority to bid on a job I am now on category layoff. Fun. I will just have to wait and see if they offer buyouts sometime soon and take the money and run. Try my luck at something else. Something else that won't destroy my body.
Been scraping by the best that I can for the time being. Selling things on ebay, trying to conserve where ever I can. So far so good, but barely. Still have a few other things to pay off and then I should be ok. Have to go and fill out my SUB forms on tuesday and hope there isn't too long a delay between filling those out and getting paid.
Been riding my bike down at the water-front this week. Fun ride to the bridge and back. Not too bad with the wind behind you, but it gets hard when you are going into a strong wind. Need to get into better shape. We have three weddings in a row coming up at the middle of the month. Lots of things happening this month. My Dad's birthday is on the 13th, Lar's birthday is on the 25th, wedding on the 17th and the 25th, a Tiger game on the 28th, and possibly a football game on the 26th. Going to take my step-father to a Lions and Tigers game. He has not been to either stadium since the teams have moved into their new digs.
My long time friend Mike is now back in town. He will be moving the whole family over from Michigan as soon as he can. He is working over here now, and staying with his dad during the week. Things don't change much. He is here for a day and he called me three times the one day, paged me a couple times, and same with the following day. Now all he has to do is come over and eat everything in my mom's cupboards and nothing will have changed. I wonder if Larry is still working at Domino's Pizza? Eh never mind.
