(no subject)
Indiana was enjoyable. Notre Dame won (finally) and the game was really good except the 3rd quarter sucked bad b/c nothing was happening and they kept losing yards. The car ride was unbearable and I was forced to eat McDonalds and then threw up in my mouth like 5x. 80/90 should really have some better food options in their little stops...(who even knew Hardees still existed????).
So yeah that was my weekend...took a lot of pictures, actually slept ok in the hotel bed and (gasp) got some homework done. Did a little analyzing of The Bell and platonism. I have to write a 5 page paper on platonism in the bell I guess, which is going to be hard because its an ISM and its the Bell and seriously that novel has every ISM in it that ever existed.
In other news, I've decided to throw my mom a 50th surprise party. I am not sure when yet, either April, May or June (pending the family), but I'm excited. I'm going to handmake all the invitation and I'm thinking vellum and transluscent ribbon + the colors, black (over the hill) and purple (her favorite color). Then I will keep with those colors in the decorating style. Ahh I'm excited. I have to make the guestlist so when I buy my cardstock and stuff I know how many invites to expect to make.
Let's see what else? My body is really really sore and I don't know why. All of my joints are hurting and pretty much all my muscles. I had a blood test last week since I just got off the 'roids and they are going to let me know (hopefully) how they came out...I'm sure I'm ok though. I've been feeling really good lately, except for the soreness and joint pain. I actually think (fingers crossed) that I might be in remission by spring...that would mean I could go off the Remicade & maybe just stay on the Aza...that would be nice.
Ok so that was kind of a depressing note and I don't want to end my LJ like that...I am trying to think of something fun and happy to say...I'm going to the Marquette exhibition game next Monday...I think they are playing Whitewater or something so its obviously going to suck, but at least I can see all the (new) players.
I'm off-going to eat breakfast now
