I saw Hanna tonight as a mid-exam season treat. It lived up to expectations, and then a bit more. It certainly rinsed out the awful aftertaste of Kick-Ass. (yeah, I watched it at home, pirated. but it was probably the worst movie I've seen in a decade, so the stench stayed with me for a while

Haha, I think I'm the only person who enjoyed Kick-Ass. Well, to be fair, I actually enjoyed the director commentary overtop and all the funny British things he and his crew said about Canadians.

The nerdy comic book hero bugged the heck out of me, even though I liked Hit-Girl. The RPG.net thread title for Hanna was "HANNA is THE BOURNE IDENTITY only with psychotic Pippie Longstocking" which, as far as I'm concerned, is as perfect a movie premise as River Tam Beats Everyone Up. The common theme here of course, is little girls doing violence - though not in a psychotic child serial killer creepy way, I don't think I'd enjoy that.
