I just wrote an exam essay about the culture industry and fanfiction. Pretty run of the mill media fandom stuff, but it probably doesn't get as much play off the internet, so I hope the marker is amused by my inclusion of slash and "fetishistic differentiation between themselves and 'mundanes.'"
Also made me really glad I read a few episode recaps this morning because I had no trouble recalling snippets of Well, not your average phone phreak, that’s for sure. But there’s plenty of kooks out there. Data travelers. Electro-wizards. Techno-anarchists.
