PROBLEM: We were supposed to have the music for "Wild Night" at the afternoon rehearsal. They would be checking everyone for music. If we did not have it, we would run laps. I had lost my music. I did not want to run laps.
SOLUTION: I went home, got the music for "Groove is in the Heart", roughly matched the text of the "Wild Night" title, printed it out, and glued it over the title on the music.
PROBLEM: The title was nice and white. The music was crumpled and dirty.
SOLUTION: Get an equally crumpled and dirty piece of music, print the title on the back of it, cut and paste again.
I was surprised how real it looked. Of course, if the band directors were actually paying attention, they would have noticed that the notes were different than every other "Wild Night".
