I'm super frustrated at my scanner/brushes situation right now, so I'm gonna post some photos of my workspace and the armor I'm working on.

My work spaaace. I operate in a kind of organizes chaos. There's a clear area for sketchbooks when I'm working, some tools and a pallete for the inking I was just doing on Women of Swords (the graphic novel I've been commissioned to do), at least one skull (deer, fawn), a fake taxidermy rat (clinging to speakers), persian eagle wall hanging and ..um...rainbow landmine...lol...on the left is a figure painting I did a little over a year ago and a muscle chart. It's actually fairly useless but I like looking at it. The book is "COLOR; a natural history of the pallette" by Victoria Finlay. It's amazing. Other than that, random creative detritus, chainmail, and dice.

Book shelf top near-ish my desk. Armando the Armature still has clay on him from the dragon mask, one half of a cast of which is sitting on a buck skull.I like skulls. Eventually, my house is gonna be like a natural history museum ;)

'nother shot of what's in the right of my vision day in and day out. I like how if you have enough cool stuff around you it kinda composes itself. ilu, landmine!

Second bracer is on the left. I need to get red dye and edge kote, plus some gum tragacanth and a buffer.  The right bracer is actually for my left arm and vice versa, it's less detailed as far as layering goes because it's my shield arm, which needs to be flush to the shield. The insignias are a knotwork sunburst ouroboros I've been using as a sigil lately. They're gonna stay light, the big areas around them get to be red/brown. Might paint the sigils gold, we'll see.

There's more, some book cover experiments for Pandragon's commission (trying to affix a truly workable, durable canvas to a cover is not easy. I'm close though.), cat pictures, but, that's enough spam for today. I'm gonna go chill out and work on my avatar comic for kicks :)

I really need a scanner.
