Slow bu steady mitten progress. I could have gone farther tonight but I want to let Pippa try it on. Although having a toddler try on an unfinished mitten might be one of those "No! Don't go in the basement! THE KILLER IS DOWN THERE!" scenarios. Well, if so, I hope I'm the Final Girl.

I feel like writing down my picks for the playoffs and finals in the NHL, based on the extremely haphazard play of the first 3(ish) games. Bolding my strongest two.
EAST: Penguins, Bruins, Senators, Rangers, Jets*, Devils, Sabres, Leafs
*The Southeast division is such a mess, I don't know what's going to happen there. I kind of think only one team will make it, but I don't know if it will be the Jets or the Lightning. I like Winnipeg so I picked them.)
WEST: Blackhawks, Blues, Ducks, Canucks, Predators, Wild, Sharks, Kings*.
*Only because they've only played two games and just won the Cup.
My Stanley Cup prediction is Pittsburgh versus Chicago...
...and Pittsburgh wins in 6. :3
Not that I'm biased or anything there.
I really like the iPhone app for the Penguins. The best part of it from my perspective is that you can stream the official Penguins radio station from within the app. Since the game is usually on during the late afternoon local time, I'm usually cooking dinner or whatever and can't sit down to watch anyway, so listening to it on the radio works well.
The drawback is that it's all Pittsburgh ads which sometimes make me homesick.

I'm finally getting some pregnancy hormonal mood swings (aside from the increased temper I've had for a few weeks). I got all weepy over a cartoon Pippa was watching, and I was ready to straight up murder someone when I couldn't properly assemble the blender this afternoon. DON'T GET BETWEEN A PREGNANT LADY AND HER MILKSHAKE.
