This is an icon I use when I'm feeling down on myself yet also am at least a little aware that things are not that bad. Because c'mon, Mr. Darcy. You are you.
I don't remember where I found this. But I think it's cute and funny and lighthearted without being too flippant. I mean, just look at Popemon! Isn't His Chibiness adorable?

I've had ships in my day (preferred couples in works of fiction, for those of you not up on your fandom lingo), but when I was more into fandom than I am now, the way some people would get SO invested into liking one pairing and hating all others would wear on me. So this is a little funny way of declaring my indifference.
pikacharma made this one for a contest at Hogwarts Elite and I just thought the logo parody was done really well. Plus Starbucks is a bit of an evil empire itself at this point. Although I still have a weakness for an occasional peppermint hot chocolate.
Speaking of which! Starbucks is bringing back their 2-5pm BOGO holiday drink promo this weekend! Hurray!
I am not quite on east coast time yet. I only got two hours of sleep on Monday night, so I slept in this morning until about noon local time. I'm going to bed now.
Pip traveled pretty well but got completely overtired and overstimulated by the end of the day, and once we had her at my parent's house and were trying to put her to bed, she started absolutely howling. Probably the worst she's ever been. Even nursing she would be whimpering and trembling. Finally we had to just lay a mattress down on the floor and have me lie down with her. When I looked at the clock, I realized it had only been an hour. I can't believe how other people survive when they have babies that scream and cry for multiple hours daily. It makes me appreciate what a good baby she is 99% of the time.
