Pippa got her first tooth today! The Husband spotted it, which I don't know how he did, because even when he was pointing it out I had a hard time seeing it, but I finally did, and you can sure feel it. The lower right incisor. It's only just erupted. So far, no biting. This is only a matter of time though... #OccupyMamasBreasts is moving into violent tactics! LOL. But that explains why the last two nights she was acting so uncomfortable and waking all the time.
Babysitting was tonight and it went well! She woke up once and our babysitter soothed her back to sleep without even needing a bottle, and then she woke up again just before we got home. We saw Breakaway aka Speedy Singhs, which is basically Bend it Like Beckham only about a Canadian male Sikh who wants to play hockey instead of a British female Sikh who wants to play soccer.
It was silly fun. It really makes me want to go to the Canucks game celebrations in Surrey, since apparently they have people playing the drums and stuff there. Also the movie contained a Bollywood romantic dance sequence on ice:
Worth the price of admission by itself, really.
Actually we didn't pay anything though because we had a voucher for two tickets, two regular sodas, and a large popcorn. So all we had to pay for was the sitter. Nice!
The Husband is going to be singing tomorrow at Mass, which is nice. We're having another couple + baby over for early dinner. The plan: roast pork tenderloin, roasted carrots, steamed broccoli, and rice. I'm just waiting for my brine to cool so I can put the pork in it and go to bed.
