So today was pretty amazing, I got to hang out with Mallypoo aaaaall day. We went shopping at GAP (my addiction; some lady thought I worked there, it pretty much made my day), went for lunch at Red Robins, had a walk around Mill Lake, and than watched Sahara. It was pretty swell to catch up with Mal...since we both work two jobs now, and she's going to school, its really hard to coordinate time together.

On that note, I'd just like to state how much I love long running relationships. I just think its the swellest thing ever that I have so many close friends that have put up with me for so long. Mallory and Meaghan, obviously, but so many more (Twinny, Amers, Stel, Pilot, Jason, and Marcus, and I'm sure theres someone I'm forgetting who hopefully won't read this and thus won't hate me uh-oh :P). I really think Susan Surandon's character in the movie "Shall We Dance" laid it out best...she was talking about marriage, but I think it applies to all relationships in general. She said (something like :P) that what we really want more than anything is a witness to our own life; someone who understands us, and has shared our life with us. Although the movie was kinda drippy, the idea really stuck with me. Talking with Mallory today really struck home how much I appreciate the experiences I've shared with other people, especially those with whom I'm closest.

It also made me realize how much I want a boyfriend, which made me feel bittersweet for like 2 seconds, and then I was fine :P

Anyhoos, other randomness a la Dusty: lindy hop lessons start this sunday! SO EXCITED!
