bored and broke
want to start a capture the flag league, but my schedule isnt stable enough to have it be a weekly thing, plus i dont know enough people to get it going (nor am i particularly interested in meeting more people)
really digging my new place though, the veg garden is doing great, peppers tomatoes and strawberries are already flowering (four green strawberries already) and the green beans are growing about 1/2 inch per day, which is incredible to watch
im going to try to get some ginger going, but im not entirely sure how to start it, any info would be appreciated
maybe getting a couple cats? i need a cat around, preferably a mouser, just in case
three trash bags of beer cans sitting around, chicago doesnt really recycle, but my roommate is adament that she'll find a recycling center, until then theyre just going to sit here, weak
i found a sweet bike though, which im going to tear apart and make even sweeter, i just dont have the money for that right now, so itll have to wait a week (its a beautiful light blue motobecane, with an old man seat, which will soon be replaced)
theres a carnival across the street from my apartment, but they dont have the zipper (the last time i rode the zipper was with someone that is now dead, depressing), i think i could hit people on the big boat swingy ride with a squirt gun from my window, so that could be entertaining
in the past week ive had to jump two fences, which is about 50000% more than usual, odd circumstances indeed
