Mission Accomplished.
Well I made it.I got lost trying to find it,missed the turn off on the freeway.That was fun.After three different directions I got there about 30 minutes before the start.So I had to jog to check in,then jog back to my vehicle,wasnt sure if i would have a place to leave my stuff.It turned out well .I think my time was decent considering I missed 3 weeks of training, and i've only been running for a few months.So I actually talked to a few people,....No really i did. So I think if I continue to attend these runs and such, it is possible I could meet some nice people.So my social agenda was completed. So I have had my celebratory veggie burrito, and I think a nap, and then to the gym.
I will be entering another one in Sept, I think, in Santa Monica. It was fun and not as bad as I had envisioned.
